Job summary

Wieland is hiring a Machine Operator at our Verona, VA facility to produce parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery from shop drawings and procedures.

You will read blueprints, set tool registers, document measurements, and ensure quality while maintaining equipment and records. Starting pay is $26.50–$29.50 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential and a 3rd shift schedule. Training is provided, with bi-weekly pay and opportunities for growth across a global manufacturer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 to 5 years' experience in an industrial environment preferred.
• Arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, good vision and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Plans machining by reading, interpreting, understanding, and working from blueprints and routing sheets.
• Operates CNC machines and programs equipment by entering instructions and offsets.
• Sets up equipment, installs tools, and adjusts settings as needed.
• Maintains equipment and records, monitors quality, and troubleshoots malfunctions.
