Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Machine Operator in Shelbyville, IN, to set up and operate heavy machinery for cutting, forming, and processing parts. You will work with CNC-controlled equipment, read blueprints, and follow safety rules in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, and at least one year of experience operating manufacturing machinery, with overtime and weekend availability depending on orders and season.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of production techniques and ability to produce quality parts.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications and other technical data.
• Willing/able to work overtime and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges for cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations.
• Operate CNC-controlled machines such as presses, lasers, and rolling mills.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment.
