Overview

This position’s primary focus is the overall operation and/or production of processes and materials, as directed.

Responsibilities

1. Obtain and prioritize production orders daily, adjusting schedules as needed to meet production goals.
2. Push, pull, and lift blocks to and from the platform, inspecting for defects before and after cutting.
3. Insert appropriate programs into CNC control panels based on orders.
4. Use tape measures and basic math skills, including decimals and fractions, for measurements and calculations.
5. Inspect products after cuts for quality assurance.
6. Report issues to management to ensure quality standards are maintained.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Formal education is not required.
• Preferred: At least 6 months of manufacturing experience, but not mandatory.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions.
• Fabrication or related industry experience preferred.
• Experience operating CNC machines preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Employees must meet physical demands such as standing for long periods, handling objects over 40 pounds, and working in a manufacturing environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and mechanical hazards. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
