Job Description: Manufacturing Operator at Schwan's Company

Starting Pay: $18.75 per hour

Shift Differential: Additional $1.50 per hour from 6 pm to 6 am

Shift: 1st

Hours: 4:15 am - 4:30 pm

Location: Specialty Food Plant - Bakery

This is a full-time position within our manufacturing facility with opportunities for advancement!

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; 0-1 years of experience preferred; must be 18 years of age
• Ability to operate machines safely with minimal supervision
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, carry, push, pull, and perform other activities as needed
• Ability to communicate effectively and problem-solve with coworkers
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete for long periods
• Willingness to work in cold and/or hot temperatures and different hours including overtime or weekends
• Pass a post-offer, pre-placement background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment with simple functions
• Set up and pre-run equipment for production startup
• Control line speeds, batch formulas, production rates, and ensure product safety and quality
• Perform quality checks and complete required paperwork using SAP, SOPs, and safety protocols
• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
• Conduct yourself in accordance with company values, policies, and standards
