Position Overview

This role involves setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and gear-cutting machines, as detailed in the responsibilities below.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Install tooling on CNC equipment to produce parts within strict tolerances.
2. Follow program instructions, set fixtures, and outline tooling and operation sequences for setup.
3. Select and load appropriate part programs for machine operation.
4. Maintain accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system.
5. Adjust equipment and programs as needed.
6. Load, unload, and monitor parts during machining to ensure proper operation and finish quality.
7. Periodically check parts during production to verify conformance using precision measuring devices.
8. Assist in equipment maintenance and servicing.
9. Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
10. Potentially train other employees and assist in other departments as required.
11. Follow ISO procedures to prevent problems, document quality issues, contribute to solutions, verify implementation, control processing when issues arise, and protect the environment by preventing pollution.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
2. Willingness to travel as required.
