Job Description

Camtronics, a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation (NYSE: HEI), is seeking a Bench Technician. The Bench Technician - Paint Prep position is primarily responsible for sanding and bodywork repair of antennas. This is a 1st shift position.

Responsibilities:
  1. Complete taping and sanding of antenna exterior.
  2. Perform bodywork and repair on antennas.
  3. Follow approved documentation such as repair orders, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Work Instructions (WI).
  4. Use shop tools and equipment effectively.
  5. Document traceability of components used in assembly on manufacturing orders.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Work Experience:
  • Previous experience with shop tools in a production environment preferred.
  • Experience in bodywork, painting, or sanding tasks is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, handle, reach, and communicate verbally. May occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Visual abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as focus adjustment.

Work Environment:

Moderate noise level typical of a manufacturing setting.
