Northern Gear & Machining, a full-service machining company in southeastern Wisconsin, is seeking a CNC Operator/Machinist for 1st and 2nd shifts. The role involves operating CNC mills or lathes, reading blueprints, and ensuring first-piece inspection with ISO compliance. A $2/hour shift premium applies to 2nd shift.

We will train and support your growth, with a focus on quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Exact pay is based on experience; multiple shifts available, including nights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience (preferred but not required); We will train!
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Vertical and Horizontal CNC Mills or Lathes.

Northern Gear & Machining is seeking CNC Operator/Machinist on 1st & 2nd Shifts to collaborate with a team dedicated to the success of our customers. There is a $2 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift! We will train!

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Working from a blueprint or drawing with specifications.
• Using a variety of precision measuring devices.
• Adhering to Quality Assurance requirements including first-piece inspections and recording of measurement data.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Familiar and ISO standards and follow all standards and procedures.
• Striving for continuous improvement.
• Be able to work in a cell structure operating 2-3 machines at a time.
