Job summary

Hunting in Texas is seeking a reliable CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines and production equipment, following instructions, job specifications, and blueprints. You will read blueprints accurately and verify dimensions with precision instruments.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, ability to read and interpret documents, and to perform basic tool setup. Expect to work near moving parts in varying conditions with safety gear provided.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and Training

• High school diploma or the equivalent

Technical Requirements / Skills

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Able to accurately use measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers.
• Able to read and interpret documents.
• Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, including computing rate, ratio and percentage.

Work Authorization / Security Clearance

• Authorized to work in United States.
• Able to meet ATF & regulatory security requirements.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Will regularly work near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock and vibration. Must have the ability to wear hearing protection when required. Exposure to noise levels that maintain under standard levels. Proper protective equipment us required as directed by the safety department.
