CNC MACHINE OPERATOR
Location: Winter Park
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6AM - 4:30PM
Responsibilities
- Load Work Order files to CNC Router, Plasma machines, Omal, and Edge Bander as required.
- Maintain current TPM practices and perform basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment.
- Enter OEE data into the OEE Control Document spreadsheet on the server.
- Follow verbal and written instructions in English accurately.
- Pay close attention to detail and operate with minimal supervision.
- Set work priorities to meet production schedules.
- Assist in training other CNC operators according to their skill levels.
- Coordinate with engineering for machine programming and setup.
- Maintain cooperative working relationships and ensure safety and 5S standards are met.
- Adhere to QA and QC standards for all tasks.
- Follow company rules of conduct and attendance policies.
- Handle hazardous waste properly, maintaining all containers in closed positions unless adding or removing waste.
- Be familiar with the Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan, spill response procedures, and evacuation routes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Read, write, and communicate effectively in English, including understanding engineering drawings and measurements.
- Use various pneumatic and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform cabinet and panel lamination as needed.
- Operate tools such as drills, screw guns, saws, and routers safely.
- Utilize basic mathematics skills.
- Maintain knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards and participate in required hazardous materials handling training.
- Meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 40 pounds, working in various positions, and in conditions such as high heat, noise, and dust.
