Job description

CNC MACHINE OPERATOR

Location: Winter Park

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6AM - 4:30PM

Responsibilities

1. Load Work Order files to CNC Router, Plasma machines, Omal, and Edge Bander as required.
2. Maintain current TPM practices and perform basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment.
3. Enter OEE data into the OEE Control Document spreadsheet on the server.
4. Follow verbal and written instructions in English accurately.
5. Pay close attention to detail and operate with minimal supervision.
6. Set work priorities to meet production schedules.
7. Assist in training other CNC operators according to their skill levels.
8. Coordinate with engineering for machine programming and setup.
9. Maintain cooperative working relationships and ensure safety and 5S standards are met.
10. Adhere to QA and QC standards for all tasks.
11. Follow company rules of conduct and attendance policies.
12. Handle hazardous waste properly, maintaining all containers in closed positions unless adding or removing waste.
13. Be familiar with the Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan, spill response procedures, and evacuation routes.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
15. Read, write, and communicate effectively in English, including understanding engineering drawings and measurements.
16. Use various pneumatic and power tools safely and effectively.
17. Perform cabinet and panel lamination as needed.
18. Operate tools such as drills, screw guns, saws, and routers safely.
19. Utilize basic mathematics skills.
20. Maintain knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards and participate in required hazardous materials handling training.
21. Meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 40 pounds, working in various positions, and in conditions such as high heat, noise, and dust.
