Job description

PrideStaff is seeking a 3RD SHIFT Grinder / Machine Operator for a manufacturing client in Golden. This position involves operating grinding and surfacing equipment used in the manufacturing of high-quality products. The client is recognized as a top employer in the Denver area.

This position will initially train on day shift then move to third shift. There is a $3.00 per hour shift differential once working the 3rd shift.

Grinder / Machine Operator Job Duties:

1. Inspect, load, and unload materials into machines
2. Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, fixtures, and various instruments
3. Properly count, stack, label, and color code parts
4. Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
5. Properly allocate parts
6. Make adjustments on machines as needed

Grinder / Machine Operator Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with single and double disk grinders, surface grinders, and spindle grinders (preferred)
• 2+ years of CNC mills and lathes operation (preferred)
• 2+ years involved in setup, adjustments, and operational procedures (preferred)
• Machinist-related schooling or courses in lieu of experience
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment
• Comfortable handling sharp objects
