Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is assisting a client in the Greater Lowell Area in finding CNC Machine Operators for 1st or 2nd shift. The role offers hourly pay between $24 and $28, based on experience, in a modern precision manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include operating CNC mills/lathes, reading blueprints, performing tool changes, and conducting in-process inspections to ensure quality. Strong reading and measurement skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience performing offsets and tool changes.
• Familiarity with precision measuring equipment including calipers and micrometers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Operate CNC mills and/or lathes in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Perform tool changes and offset adjustments as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, routers, and work instructions.
• Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and maintain quality standards.
• Verify parts meet specifications throughout production runs.
• Troubleshoot minor production issues and elevate concerns when needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area.

Direct Hire Opportunity

Available Schedules

• 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-2:30 AM

Pay: $24-$28/hour, depending on experience
