CNC Lathe Machinist - Shift A & Shift B

Location: Garden Grove

Department: Manufacturing / Production

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shifts Available: Shift A, Shift B

About the Role

We are seeking skilled CNC Lathe Machinists to join our production team. The ideal candidate has hands-on machining expertise, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate, set up, and troubleshoot CNC lathe equipment to produce high-quality components.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Select, install, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and verify machine capability prior to operation.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments.
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production records and follow all safety and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to resolve machining issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC lathe machining experience (or equivalent combination of training/experience).
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, speeds/feeds, and tooling.
• Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).
• Experience with G-code edits preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [insert weight] as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Shift Details

• Hours: 6:00am-3:30pm
• Days: Monday-Friday
• Shift B: 3:00pm-11:30pm
• Days: Monday-Friday
• $2/HR shift differential may apply
