Adecco is seeking a CNC Machine Operator / Setup Technician in Wheeling, IL. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting focused on medical device components.

You will read blueprints, perform quality inspections, and support automation and training efforts. This is a full-time position with career growth and emphasis on safety and quality.

Competenze

• Reading and writing in English is required.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail are essential.
• Experience with CNC machines, machine setup, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Strong math skills for working with measurements and tolerances.
• Familiarity with GMP, QSR, GDP, or quality systems is a plus.
• Safety-conscious mindset and eagerness to learn.

What You'll Do

As a CNC Machine Operator / Setup Technician, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will:

• Set up and operate CNC machines based on engineering drawings and production specifications
• Perform quality inspections and measurements to ensure products meet precise specifications
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
• Install, maintain, and change tooling as required for production runs
• Support automated equipment, robotic systems, and production operators
• Conduct basic preventative maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
• Experience with CNC machines, machine setup, or manufacturing environments preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
• Strong math skills and the ability to work with measurements and dimensions

Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
