Job summary

Leviat is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to manage the operation and daily maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical presses, producing parts per specifications. The role includes reading drawings, starting up and adjusting machines, and ensuring safe, efficient production.

Candidate should have at least a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience or training, with ability to interpret drawings and use a tape measure and caliper. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Job Description

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for the operation and daily maintenance of hydraulic and mechanical presses. This includes maintaining, setting and adjusting the machine to produce parts and components according to specifications.

• Performs daily inspection and pre-startup PM
• Abilitytoreaddrawings,manuals,specifications,orsampleparttodeterminedimensionsand tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
• Starts and operates hydraulic and mechanical presses
• Execute machine loading and unloading processes safely and accurately
• Must be receptive to regular set-up guidance, training, and constructive feedback from leadership
• Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality
• Executes instructions accurately and responds constructively tomanagement direction
• Openly seeks feedback and applies it to drive continuous professional growth
• Maintains situational awareness and adherence to regulatory compliance and site security measures
• Responsibleforkeepingalltools,dies,machinecontrolsingood,workingcondition–must report immediately to press supervisor if there are any problems with these items
• Accurately complete all required paperwork

Required Skills & Qualifications

Physical Environment

• Lifting no more than 40 pounds.
• Ability to sustain prolonged periods of standing and walking for up to 8 hours per-shift.
• This position may require various physical activities, including but not limited to walking, standing, bending, stretching and using hands and fingers to grasp, push and lift.
