Job summary

Titan-Production-Equipment,-LLC is seeking a skilled machinist to produce precision parts from various metals for production and prototype equipment. The role involves interpreting sketches, drawings, and blueprints, and operating multiple torch/beveler systems to specifications.

The ideal candidate will have proven blueprints-reading ability, tape measure proficiency, crane experience, and CNC software exposure. This position is on-site and requires physically handling parts up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate Triple Torch/OxyFuel Beveler.

• Read blueprints and perform layout.
• Read tape measure and verify dimensions.

Position Summary:

Produces machined parts for production equipment from a variety of metals to specification by operating machining equipment. Fabricates precision parts for prototype equipment and fixtures working from sketches, drawings, and/or blueprints.

Job Description:

HGG - Computer experience, read blueprints. Measure with tape measure and strapping tape. How to calculate degrees to layout shell, and layout heads, Experience cutting with plasma and oxy fuel torches. Operating crane to load & unload shells. Range 8”od to 96” id vessels. Machine has one 400 plasma torch and one oxy fuel torch. Has one shell profile station and head profile station.

• Overhead Crane Experience (Loading and Unloading Table)


• Able to read blue prints


• Able to use and read a tape measure

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent or equal combination of education and experience


• Five (5) years machine operating experience


• CNC software experience

Physical Strain:

• Lifting up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds
