Job summary

Ludlow-Manufacturing,-Inc. is seeking a skilled machinist to load equipment per instruction and measure parts toPrint specs. You will report quantities into the ERP system and maintain a clean, safe work area in a busy shop environment.

Qualified candidates have 2–3 years operating machining equipment, 2–3 years with measuring tools, and solid computer skills. Metal fabrication experience is a plus, with benefits after 90 days.

Summary

Produce Machined parts per instruction. Monitor parts being produced, validate quality of parts being produced, monitor equipment is performing as expected.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

• Load equipment per instruction.
• Measure parts for conformance to print.
• Report quantities produced into ERP system.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform Daily/Weekly Preventative Maintenance as assigned
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as apparent and/or assigned.
• Model the right behavior in terms of initiative, compliance, moral character (honor, integrity, and courage) and work ethic to create teamwork and mutual respect amongst employees.

Education and/or Experience

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 to 3 years’ experience operating machining equipment.
• 2 to 3 years’ experience with measuring tools.
• Computer experience.

Preferred:

• Metal fabrication experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, product and component specifications, data sheets and procedure manuals.

Computer Skills and Other Equipment

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of electronic equipment. Will be required to use computer, micrometers, calipers, and height gage.
