Job summary

Titan in Columbus, TX seeks a Machinist to produce parts for production equipment from various metals, using blueprints and sketches as guidance. You will operate a Triple Torch/OxyFuel Beveler and a Plasma Bevel Head, read tape measures, and prepare parts to specification.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and about five years of machine operating experience; CNC software experience is a plus. The job involves crane loading/unloading and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job description

Position Summary:

Produces machined parts for production equipment from a variety of metals to specification by operating machining equipment. Fabricates precision parts for prototype equipment and fixtures working from sketches, drawings, and/or blueprints.

Job Description:

HGG - Computer experience, read blueprints. Measure with tape measure and strapping tape. How to calculate degrees to layout shell, and layout heads, Experience cutting with plasma and oxy fuel torches. Operating crane to load & unload shells. Range 8”od to 96” id vessels. Machine has one 400 plasma torch and one oxy fuel torch. Has one shell profile station and head profile station.
