Job summary

Protocase Inc. in Wilmington, NC seeks a CNC Lead Production to oversee the day-to-day CNC operations on the afternoon shift. You will mentor operators, coordinate priorities, and ensure safety and quality standards on the shop floor.

This hands-on leadership role requires CNC experience, the ability to read drawings, and hands-on problem solving to keep production moving and meet delivery goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years in CNC machining or related manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day CNC production activities on the assigned shift.
• Coordinate employees, machines, and priorities to ensure smooth workflow.
• Provide hands-on guidance and coaching to CNC operators.
• Monitor safety, quality, and production standards on the shop floor.
• Assist with machine setup, tooling, and troubleshooting.
• Lead shift handovers and maintain clear communication across teams.
