Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Alsip, IL is seeking a CNC Machine Specialist to operate CNC machines on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm. The role includes leading production, troubleshooting, and training junior machinists.

The ideal candidate has five years of experience in CNC turning, milling, grinding and gear manufacturing, strong blueprint reading, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• CNC turning, milling, grinding and gear manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and follow standard work.
• Experience with measuring equipment and inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead production on CNC machines and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Train junior machinists and share knowledge.
• Develop daily/weekly PM schedules and 5S processes.
• Review programs and create simple ones from scratch.
