Job summary

EIMCo is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist/Set Up for the 2nd shift at our Farley, IA facility. You will set up, run, and adjust CNC lathes, verify dimensions, and ensure production targets are met while following quality standards and safety policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating with leads, recording production data in the ERP, and maintaining equipment condition. Minor crane-related tasks may apply; prior CNC experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, crane certification preferred.
• Mechanical background and ability to learn EIMCo processes.
• Experience with CNC turning or setup is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check with lead for machine and job assignments.
• Discuss machine performance and shift challenges with previous operators.
• Produce parts on CNC machines according to specifications.
• Set up parts for different production jobs.
• Test machines after new programs are set up.
• Unload/package parts per ERP and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily records for each job and part quality.
