Job summary

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand, is seeking a CNC Lathe Set Up, Production Operator for 2nd shift. You will set up CNC lathe machines, uphold production standards, and adhere to ISO 9001 guidelines.

This role requires reading drawings, selecting tools, calculating feeds and speeds, inspecting parts, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. One year certificate preferred; strong math and measurement skills needed.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
• Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
• Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers.
• Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.

Responsibilities

• Set up to operate CNC Lathe machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts and shop orders to plan and check work.
• Obtain proper set of tools from tool crib, select holders, mount, secure, and check tools for accuracy.
• Interpret drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications, and instructions to determine proper operation sequences.
• Make necessary calculations for tool depth and tool compensation adjustments.
• Move completed material to the next workstation.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
