Job summary

Q, LLC in Dover, NH is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist - Lathe (Day Shift) to set up, program, operate, and inspect precision components on CNC lathes, following engineering drawings and GD&T. You will work with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality to ensure safe, efficient production and continuous improvement, while documenting programs, tooling, and setup sheets.

Required 3–5 years' CNC lathe experience, FANUC control proficiency, and CAD/CAM familiarity; a high school diploma

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3-5 years CNC lathe setup, operation, programming, and troubleshooting experience.
Proficiency with FANUC CNC controls.
Experience with CAD/CAM software such as CamWorks or Mastercam.
Strong GD&T knowledge and ability to read blueprints.
Experience using precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes to manufacture precision components.
Develop and maintain CNC programs using CAM software.
Read and interpret drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing instructions.
Perform in-process and first-piece inspections.
Maintain tooling, offsets, and documentation.
Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
