Job summary

Sonnax Transmission in Vermont is seeking a CNC Setup/Operator to join an experienced Continuous Improvement team. You will set up and operate Haas, Hardinge and Mitsubishi mills and lathes to produce parts to print specifications, interpreting drawings and tooling sheets.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings to understand tolerances of parts to be machined.
• Set up and operate CNC machines to meet parts per hour requirements.
• Perform quality checks and adjust to hold dimensions and tolerances to print specifications.
• M ake offset adjustments or request program updates to hold tolerances.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and perform daily preventative maintenance.
