Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a detail-oriented CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist to join our Dexter, MI team. You will set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines to manufacture precision components used in high-durability equipment.

The role requires at least 2 years of hands-on CNC experience, proficiency with precision tools, and familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak controls. Onsite assignment in Dexter, MI with strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and/or milling machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with precision tools including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
• Familiarity with CNC machine controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak) and basic G-code/M-code troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines according to engineering drawings and technical specs.
• Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret G-code/M-code; perform tool offset adjustments and basic program edits at the machine control.
