Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and/or milling machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with precision tools, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
• Familiarity with CNC machine controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak) and basic G-code troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret G-code/M-code; perform tool offset adjustments and basic program edits at the machine control.
• Load raw materials, set up tooling, select inserts, and monitor tool wear to prevent defects.
• Maintain routine machine maintenance and adhere to 5S and safety protocols.
