Epiroc Industrial Tools and Attachments LLC is seeking a CNC Lathe/Mill Machinist to join the Dexter, MI team. You will set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines to manufacture precision components for high-durability equipment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hands-on CNC experience, strong measurement skills, and familiarity with Fanuc/Haas/Mazak controls, while prioritizing safety and quality in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years setting up and operating CNC lathes and/or milling machines.
• Proficient with precision tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, dial indicators).
• Familiar with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas or Mazak and basic G-code troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathes and milling machines per drawings and specs.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Read/interpret G-code/M-code; adjust offsets and edits at the control.
• Load materials, set up tooling, select inserts, monitor wear to prevent defects.
• Maintain machine safety and perform routine maintenance per 5S standards.
