Job summary

Hunting Subsea Technologies is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist 2 to operate and set up CNC and manual lathes and milling machines in a precision shop environment.

You will read blueprints, select tooling, and work with engineers to ensure tolerances and schedules are met. The role requires dedication to Lean principles, quality control, and ongoing process improvement on a primarily onsite basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certificate or completed apprenticeship preferred.
• 1–2 years manual lathe/mill; 3–5 years CNC lathe/mill experience.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC and manual lathes or milling machines per procedures.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and tolerances.
• Communicate with engineers and planners to ensure schedules are accurate.
• Support machine PM program and Lean initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
