Job summary

Industrious Group is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, producing precision parts per blueprints and tolerances. You will determine tooling, speeds, and feeds and work closely with engineers to ensure quality and efficiency.

The role requires five years of CNC experience, blueprints proficiency, and the ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts. Second shift 2:00pm–10:30pm, Monday–Friday is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience in operating CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Blueprint reading a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret blueprints, diagrams, and drawings.
• Set-up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Determine cutting tools, speeds, and feeds from drawings.
• Perform quality checks with in-process inspection tools.
• Work with engineers to produce parts to specifications.
• Write setup instructions and machine programs.
