K2 Ascend Solutions in Madison Heights, MI seeks an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for 1st shift on a full-time onsite basis. You will perform full setups on fixed headstock and Swiss CNC lathes, edit programs, and ensure quality through precise measurements.

The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T, and CNC codes with a strong eye for detail. This shop values reliability, steady schedules, and hands-on ownership from setup to production.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and GD&T.
• Strong CNC lathe experience with setups.
• Experience with Swiss machines preferred, programming a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform complete setups on CNC lathe machines.
• Operate machines during production runs, making offsets and minor program edits as needed.
• Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements.
• Read and understand CNC programs and code.
• Maintain production efficiency while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust accordingly.
