Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and customer specifications to set up, operate, and adjust CNC Star Swiss Lathes.
• Performs inspections of self-machined parts (First Piece & In-Process).
• Inspects produced parts using gauges, calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Changes offsets and tools, performs G-Code edits and preventative maintenance of machines.
• Must set up machines to achieve full capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specs to determine machine setup and operation.
• Perform setup, operation, and adjustments on CNC Star Swiss Lathes.
• Inspect first pieces and in-process parts for conformance.
• Edit G-code and update offsets and tools as required.
• Maintain tools and perform preventative maintenance of equipment.

Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Swiss Lathe Machinists and is a DP position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need 3+ years of experience ; Aerospace experience preferred.

Job Description:

• Reads and Studies Blueprints and Customer Specifications to best perform Setup, Operations and Adjustments of CNC Star Swiss Lathes. G-Code edit experience is a plus.
• Performs Inspections of self-machined parts (First Piece & In-Process)
• Candidates will perform Inspection of their produced parts using Gauges, Calipers, Micrometers, etc.
• Responsible for Changing Offsets and Tools, Performing G-Code Edits and Preventative Maintenance of Machines

Requirements

• 2 Years: Setup Experience | 2 Years: Swiss Lathe Machines
• Tool Making Experience (Preferred)
• Ability to work Independently and in a Team Environment
