hireCNC is recruiting experienced CNC Lathe Machinists for a contract assignment in Gray, Louisiana. You will set up and run CNC lathes for turning, boring, and threading on large, heavy components, with tight tolerances and independent work style.

Strong CNC lathe setup and operating experience, familiarity with Mazak/Mazatrol or Doosan/Fanuc controls, and the ability to inspect parts with micrometers and calipers are required.

Qualificações

• Strong CNC lathe setup and operating experience.
• Turning, boring, and threading experience including ACME and V-threads.
• Experience on Mazak/Mazatrol and/or Doosan/Fanuc controls.
• Manual 4-jaw chuck setup experience.
• Ability to inspect parts with micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers.
• Comfortable machining large, heavy components and working to tight tolerances.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and run CNC lathes for turning, boring, and threading.
• Set up workholding, including manual 4-jaw chuck setups.
• Machine large, heavy components to tight tolerances.
• Inspect your own parts with micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers.
• Work independently and adapt quickly to the parts and setups.
