Job summary

Thorlabs is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate turning centers with multi-tasking capabilities, including live tooling and bar feeders. You will read blueprints, apply GD&T tolerances, and inspect finished parts to spec.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of CNC experience, with Okuma and Fanuc controls, and a strong focus on quality and safety. This on-site role offers competitive hourly pay and a shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar CNC role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CNC cert/trade school a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs setup and operations on CNC turning centers with multi-tasking capability.
• Works with live tooling, Y-axis, and bar feeders.
• Meets blueprints and GD&T tolerances; performs measurement and inspection.
• Maintains tooling and inspection devices; ensures on-time delivery.
• Supports safety standards and clean, orderly work areas.
