Job summary

American Thermowell, A TASI Measurement Company, is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes with Fanuc controls in a low-volume manufacturing environment. You will interpret blueprints, adjust tooling and offsets, and verify part dimensions with precision instruments.

The role emphasizes maintaining tolerances, performing routine machine maintenance, and keeping a clean, safe work area while supporting a responsive production team.

Qualifications

• Education or equivalent experience related to the skillset needed for this position.
• Fanuc format based CNC experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints
• Operate and set up CNC Lathe machines to perform repetitive machining operations-low volume
• Changing offsets and tooling to maintain dimensional tolerances
• Calculate and verify dimensions using precision instruments
• Enter codes for speed, feed and tool path
• Perform daily maintenance on equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Ensure CNC machines are adequately lubricated before use
