CV-Tek in Elgin, Illinois is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC lathes in a high‑mix, low‑volume environment, reading blueprints and ensuring parts meet specifications.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of CNC lathe setup experience.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes.
• Experience with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment.
• Strong math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate CNC lathes.
• Run production jobs and monitor machine performance.
• Make tooling and offset adjustments as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Inspect parts to ensure specs and tolerances.
• Use micrometers, gauges, and comparators.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and identify improvements.
• Work with engineering and manufacturing personnel.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area.
• Complete required production documentation.
• Work overtime as needed.
