Calqulate Metrics Ltd in Springfield, MA is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist with a strong background in 5-axis machining to set up, operate and adjust CNC lathes to blueprint specifications.

You will select tools, set feeds and speeds, perform precision inspections with hand tools, and maintain a clean, safe work area while meeting production targets and lifting up to 70 lbs. The role also requires independence and troubleshooting abilities.

Competenze

• 8–10 years of CNC lathe experience in 3- and 4-axis setup and operation.
• Strong background in 5-axis machining and blueprint reading.
• Aerospace experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines (3, 4, 5-axis) per blueprints.
• Adjust tooling, feeds, and speeds; troubleshoot controllers and processes.
• Perform precision inspections with hand tools to ensure quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and monitor tool inventory.
• Lift up to 70 lbs as needed.
