We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and developing CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, setting up machines, and ensuring that production runs smoothly. This role requires a deep understanding of CNC machining processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for precision, and a commitment to quality, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and create CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Set up CNC machines, including mills and lathes, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and design drawings accurately.
  • Monitor the operation of CNC machines, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize machining processes and improve overall productivity.
  • Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines, ensuring they are always in good working order.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our operations.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in CNC machine set-up and operation, including both mill and lathe operations.
  • Exceptional knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Strong experience with CAD/CAM software for programming.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • A strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to train and provide technical support to other team members.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement, always seeking ways to optimize processes and procedures.
