Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to produce precision parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to Viant’s values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality standards, including QMS, FDA regulations, and other applicable policies.
• Operate and set up CNC machinery with minimal assistance.
• Meet cycle time and yield targets.
• Operate multiple machines as required.
• Adjust tooling to maintain tolerances and provide input on tooling improvements.
• Pre-set tooling and manage tool breakages during operations.
• Follow established guidelines for tooling life and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues independently.
• Perform finishing processes such as deburring, buffing, or sanding to meet specifications.
• Verify revision levels and documentation accuracy.
• Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to ensure quality.
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
• Follow quality procedures for traceability and segregation of materials.
• Practice 5S principles daily.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
