Job summary

RTCA is seeking a Lead CNC Lathe Machinist for swing shifts at our Fife, WA facility. The role leads the CNC lathe team, coordinates with foreman and manager, and drives efficiency while maintaining high quality and on-time delivery.

Applicants should have prior lead or supervisory experience, machining knowledge, and strong math and inspection skills. MS Office proficiency is preferred; onsite role with full-time hours and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a lead or supervisory role in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, materials and processes.
• Understanding of mills and lathes operations.
• Ability to qualify parts using inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in the CNC lathe shop and organize evening work.
• Improve efficiencies while maintaining quality.
• Inspect work using gauging and inspection equipment to verify conformance to specs.
• Ensure productivity and safety while meeting delivery objectives.
