Job summary

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and production docs with accuracy.
• Basic math, computer, and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of CNC machining and steel materials.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment (laser/CNC).
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser equipment to cut sheet and plate steel according to blueprints and work orders.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring tools
• Load programs, stage materials, and make machine adjustments to maintain tolerance and quality standards
• Complete routine preventative maintenance, including cleaning, fluid checks, and consumable changes
• Move, tag, and stage finished material while completing required production and quality documentation
