The role involves material handling, machine maintenance, and continuous improvement activities within a production environment. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential, with higher rates based on experience.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, dimensions, tolerances, cut lengths, and material orientation requirements.
• Set up, operate, and adjust tube laser equipment to produce high-quality parts that meet production and quality standards.
• Stage, load, and unload raw materials and finished products using forklifts, cranes, or other material-handling equipment.
• Verify machine settings and perform first-piece and in-process inspections using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, and tolerances to plan cuts and material layout.
• Set up and operate tube laser equipment, ensuring parts meet specs and quality standards.
• Move materials safely using forklifts or cranes and manage material handling workflow.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic preventative maintenance tasks.
