Job summary

Pivotal Health Solutions in Watertown, SD, is seeking a Laser Programmer/Operator to set up and run laser cutting equipment, ensuring parts are produced to spec.

You will interpret blueprints, program CAD/CAM files, perform inspections, and work with engineers to optimize tooling and processes. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year programming lasers for sheet metal fabrication.
• Experience interpreting engineering blueprints and drawings.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and nesting programs.
• Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser cutting equipment according to work orders and blueprints.
• Program and maintain CAD/CAM files for client parts.
• Interpret blueprints to create flat pattern layouts and verify dimensions.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure specifications.
• Collaborate with clients’ engineers and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with procedures.
