Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment required.
• Experience with Mazak, Bodor, or similar laser equipment preferred.
• Experience with automated material loading/unloading systems is a plus.
• Able to read blueprints and understand part orientation and specifications.
• Comfortable using basic measuring tools to verify part quality.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment.
• Monitor machines throughout the cutting process to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Work with automated loading and unloading systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
• Inspect finished parts and identify errors before they move to the next operation.
• Troubleshoot machine or part issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Unload, organize, and stage completed parts for welding or other production areas.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Maintain production pace while meeting quality and safety standards.
• Work independently and manage multiple jobs or priorities as needed.
