FastTrack Staffing is seeking a Laser Operator to join our client's production team in Michigan. You will set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment to produce metal parts according to work orders.

You will read blueprints, monitor the laser, perform quality checks with calipers and tape measures, and document production metrics. The role requires physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs and the ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Formación

• Experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment.
• Able to set up and operate laser machines.
• Familiar with calipers, micrometers, and tapes.
• Proficient with hand tools.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment per work orders.
• Load and unload sheet metal and materials.
• Read blueprints and production drawings.
• Monitor operation and adjust as needed.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers and tape measures.
• Identify and report material, machine, or quality issues.
• Sort and label completed parts for the next production stage.
• Complete production paperwork and record quantities and scrap.
