Join a team driven to improve patient outcomes while giving you room to grow your craft.A better career for you. Creating medical technology for all. What a Day Looks LikeYou arrive for your shift, review the production queue, and load the day’s materials using manual lifts, overhead cranes, or a forklift. You set up the EMLK or Apelio cell, dial in the turret tooling, and run a laser/punch zero coupon before cutting begins. Your routine includes nozzle alignment, focus lens cleaning, and height calibration to ensure every cut meets print and MPE quality standards. Between runs, you verify parts with the Inspecvision scanner, log process verifications in the ERP system, and double-check fellow operators’ output for quality. As priorities shift, you flex to shakeout (part separation), deburring, hardware insertion, or press brake work. At the end of the day, you shut down equipment, keep the area organized, and leave everything ready for a strong start tomorrow.Set up and operate laser/turret equipment to produce metal components to print and MPE quality requirementsIdentify and handle raw materials; load/unload with manual lifts, overhead cranes, and forkliftsUse the Inspecvision scanner for part verificationAssemble/disassemble and sharpen turret toolingPerform nozzle alignment, focus lens cleaning, height calibration, and focus adjustmentsRun laser/punch zero coupon at start of shiftConfigure and operate automated sheet loaderSet up and shut down all machinery in the cellFully set up and operate EMLK or Apelio systemsVerify peers’ work and record process verification in ERPFlex to shakeout, deburring, hardware insertion, or press brake as neededFollow all MPE safety policies and maintain strong housekeepingScheduleFirst Shift: 2:30pm–10:30pm, Monday–FridayWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent1–3 years setting up and running laser/turret equipment or CNCsAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawingsProficiency with measuring tools (calipers, pin gauges, height gauges)Commitment to quality checks and documentationPhysical and Mental DemandsRegular use of hand and power toolsAbility to read and follow written and verbal directionsClose vision for inspections; lift up to 50 lbsWhy MPEMission-Driven Work: Build products that improve lives.Growth Opportunities: Career development and internal promotions.Comprehensive Benefits:Medical (HSA-qualified and traditional), dental, and vision—coverage begins the first of the month after hire.401(k) with company match.Nine paid holidays and vacation time from day one.Ready to Build What Matters? If you’re detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy problem-solving with a team, we’d love to hear from you.
