Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Rotating Parts MFG Lab Technician to set up and run CNC machines, producing rotating components to engineering specs and verifying quality through hand measurements and in-process checks.

You will read drawings with GD&T, use CAD/CAM models to understand toolpaths, document results, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining a safe, 5S work environment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of CNC machining experience in manufacturing.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce rotating parts to specs.
• Load and verify CNC programs, set offsets, and run first pieces for verification.
• Inspect with calipers, micrometers, gauges; document results and adjust as needed.
• Read drawings, GD&T callouts, and part specs to ensure conformance.
• Record data and machine settings in logs and quality databases.
• Identify deviations and work with engineers to resolve root causes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, 5S work area and perform routine maintenance.
