Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Rotating Parts MFG Lab Technician (CNC Machining) to set up, run, and verify rotating components with precision. You will use CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis centers, verify programs, and perform first-piece verification.

You will record results and help drive continuous process improvements in a fast-paced aerospace environment. The role requires an associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, 2+ years of CNC shop experience, and strong measurement

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of CNC experience in manufacturing, preferably aerospace or automotive.
• Proficient with hand measurement tools and GD&T reading.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce rotating parts to spec.
• Load and verify CNC programs, set offsets, and run first pieces for verification.
• Prepare and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and indicators.
• Record data in logs and databases, report deviations, and support root-cause analysis.
• Follow 5S, safety, and quality standards in machining and lab environments.
