Job summary

Jobot is seeking a CNC Machinist for our Sidney, OH facility to set up and operate jig grinding and surface grinding machines. You will read blueprints, maintain tools, and perform inspections to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

Experience setting up and operating surface grinders or similar precision grinders.
Ability to read blueprints, job orders, and tolerance/finish requirements.
Strong understanding of precision grinding techniques.
Willingness to learn additional CNC skills.
Able to maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate jig grinding machines to blueprint specifications.
Complete production paperwork, inspections, and daily equipment maintenance.
Maintain tools, gauges, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Follow safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.
Work within tight tolerances (+/- .0002) and support a high-mix machining environment.
