Job summary

Jobot, a Sidney-based manufacturer serving aerospace and industrial markets, is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist III for first shift. You will set up and operate multi-axis CNC turning and milling machines, interpret blueprints with GD&T, and perform first article and in-process inspections.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of CNC multi-axis turning or milling experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and GD&T interpretation; ability to set up and troubleshoot complex machining jobs.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for production documentation and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC turning and milling machines with minimal supervision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and operation sheets, including GD&T.
• Perform first piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and dial gauges.
• Hold tight tolerances in complex precision machining environments.
• Document inspection results and job data within the ERP system.
• Troubleshoot machining processes and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
