Job summary

FORMA-FAB METALS, INC. in North Carolina is seeking a CNC Machinist to program, load, cycle and troubleshoot NC machines to fabricate precision parts. The role requires interpreting blueprints, setting up mills and lathes, and maintaining quality through measurements and QA procedures.

You will work Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm with overtime as needed, in-person at our facility. Candidates should have 4–5 years CNC experience and CAD/CAM familiarity, with safety and attendance

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of CNC experience.
• 2 years of CNC programming experience preferred.
• 1 year of supervising experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan the machining process by studying orders, drawings, and tolerances.
• Program mills and lathes with tool offsets and references.
• Set up mills and lathes with chucks, tools, and fixtures.
• Load stock, measure first parts, and verify dimensions.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot tooling and controls.
• Document production and quality data in logs.
