Hyperion Materials & Technologies Inc. seeks a CNC Grinder to set up, program, and operate grinding operations per blueprints and procedures. You will verify part dimensions with precision instruments and maintain SPC compliance while supporting continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires strong setup skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with department leaders to optimize throughput and quality in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 40 hours of ongoing education/training annually.
• Experience in machining environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with department leaders to manage job status and capacity.
• Assist operators in setup, monitor flow and throughput.
• Provide setup guidance and inspect parts for conformance.
• Select tooling and fixtures based on grinding specs.
• Write CNC programs using G-Code or MasterCAM.
• Verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, CMMs.
• Follow 8-step process and track SPC charts.
• Maintain clean work area and perform basic machine maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Uphold safety procedures and company vision.
